Giving Back

One per cent of every journey.
Forever.

Ascot Private commits 1% of turnover of annual turnover to the communities where we operate. Not per journey. Not optionally. Structurally, permanently, and transparently.

The Commitment

Three rules. Written down. Audited.

1% of turnover

Not 1% of profit. Not 1% of margin. 1% of revenue, calculated annually and disbursed quarterly.

Audited disbursements

Annual transparency report published every March. We publish what we paid, where it went, and what it funded.

No journey fee

The contribution is structural — built into our pricing, not a per-traveller checkbox. Whether you book a single journey or twenty, the maths is the same.

Where the One Per Cent Goes

Two projects. Both local. Both audited.

Sweetwaters, KwaZulu-Natal · UK Charity 1137911

iThemba Projects

iThemba runs after-school programmes, scholarships, and tertiary mentorship for children in Sweetwaters, the rural community above Pietermaritzburg. The work is unsentimental: keep the children in school, support them through matric, place them in tertiary education or vocational training. Outcomes are measured in pass rates and university admissions, not photographs.

420Children in programme

Knysna, Western Cape · Local community project

Knysna Soup Kitchen

A weekly soup kitchen serving the informal settlements above Knysna, run by local volunteers and supported by Ascot Tours since the 2017 fires. Not yet a registered NPO — funds are channelled through iThemba while registration completes.

600Weekly meals served

The contribution begins the moment you book.

One per cent of every Ascot Private journey reaches iThemba Projects and the Knysna Soup Kitchen within ninety days of departure.
